Pancake Tuesday Prep Walk

In order to get some prep in for Pancake (or Fat) Tuesday, a good walk was on the agenda. Caroline and the gorgous Troy joined me for a dander along Tullan Strand in Bundoran, Co. Donegal.

We walked the length of the beach and put the world to rights. By the end my fitbit had clocked almost 9,000 steps. We felt deserving of a delicious lunch in the Hardy Baker. Ahem, there may have been cake - it being Fat Tuesday and all that.

The day was so calm. The sort of conditions to make my heart sing.

Cake instead of pancakes. And well, it was chocolate and raspberry, two of my favourite things. There's always next year - who am I kidding - next week more like! Or maybe breakfast pancakes tomorrow!!
